URLradio.net was birthed by Stacy Sturm & Nicole Morrison-Mathern. Both women have a head for business, and a heart for charity. They are active in fundraising, organizing events and volunteer for several non-profits in our area.
- Boss Lady Stacy
URL Radio co-owner and local radio veteran, Stacy Sturm, will be programming the radio station. She has worked in the radio business for 14 years. She’s done mornings for almost 10 of those years and would be leading the morning line-up on URL Radio. She’ll also write and produce advertising and schedule spots. She’s also worked in newspaper, television and marketing/public relations for four years and knows what makes a successful campaign.
- Boss Lady Nicole
URL Radio co-owner Nicole Morrison-Mathern already owns two successful businesses, and has years of business and marketing experience. She will be involved in sales, marketing and community involvement.
She is currently the Assistant Director of the Harold Schafer Emerging Leaders Academy, and is responsible for the business & discovery sections, where she helps students find their passion and connects the book part of college to real life. Nicole is the Vice Chair of the North Dakota Make-A-Wish Foundation, and also sits on the Board of Directors for the IDEA Center (Incubator for Developing Entrepreneurial Activity) where she helps entrepreneurs start up their dream businesses.
Nicole received her undergraduate degrees (Human Services w/ concentration in Criminal Justice, Behavioral Sciences w/ concentration in Psychology & a minor in Communications) from Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, SD. She also holds a Master’s in Management degree from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. In 2006 Nicole was named the national runner-up for the Business and Professional Women’s, Young Careerist program. In 2007 she was a finalist for the Jaycee’s Outstanding Young North Dakotan award, and in 2008 was listed as one of North Dakota’s top 40 under 40 in “Business Watch”.
